Daniel is a passionate entrepreneur, lecturer, presenter and keynote speaker. He wrote his thesis on Mobile Marketing, became a founding member of the fullservice app-agency allaboutapps (a joint venture of i5invest and runtastic) and advises several startups.
Daniel is Co-Founder and Member of the Board of AustrianStartups (a non-profit to strengthen the entrepreneurial eco-system), Co-Founder of crowdinvesting-platform primeCROWD and lectures at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, the Vienna University of Technology, the Vienna University of Economics and Business as well as the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt. In October 2015 he joined the Board of the WWG – Österreichische Werbewissenschaftliche Gesellschaft / the Austrian Association of Advertising Sciences, in January 2016 he became founding member of startup300 – an earlystage accelerator and in August 2016 founding partner of the Vienna Mentoring Group, a mentoring program for early stage startups.
He has hosted more than 150 events on startups including Pioneers Festival (one of the leading startup-events in Europe) and was the presenter of the Austrian version of Shark Tank, “2Minuten, 2Millionen – die PULS4 Startup-Show” on national TV. In October 2016 he co-hosted “The Spark – Der Deutsche Digitalpreis”(The German Digital Awards).
He is nicknamed “The Pitch Professor” and is considered one of the leading experts and trainers on pitching with more than 120 trainings held both for startups and large corporations.

Katharina is CEO of CONDA Austria.
After spending her last semester in Toronto, Katharina graduated from WU Vienna in 2010. Katharina co-founded StartEurope in 2009 and afterwards gained experience working for a larger company related to international marketing and sales strategies. In addition, she gained project management experience by working in large IT projects for three years in total, these skills she still uses today in the process of evaluating and identifying new business models. Now, she supports entrepreneurs in their quest for finding funding for their innovative projects.
After studying Management and Economics and Interior Architecture and starting to work within the start-up scene Magdalena founded the I.E.C.T. – Hermann Hauser together with Josef, Johannes and Hermann Hauser in 2016. They focused on providing access to international know-how and smart money.
Since February 2018 she took the position of the CEO and became proxy for the Hermann Hauser’s investment vehicle. Alongside Magdalena works as mentor and coach for different programmes and supports and runs several regional projects to help establishing a startup ecosystem in Tyrol together with local partners.

Florian Kandler, aka “The Pitchmaster General”, is a three-time founder and fundraising expert from Vienna. He holds a PhD and Masters degree in computer science and economics. He has started three companies, two of which raised over three million Euros from Angels and VCs from Europe and the USA in three separate funding rounds. GetFunding.how is his initiative that aims to educate and support startup founders in fundraising.
In the last few years he has helped founders from twelve countries across Europe with their fundraising. He also shares his knowledge on his podcast “Startup Milestones”. And he teaches at incubators, speaks at conferences, and helps founders with offline workshops and 1:1 coaching, as well as pan-European online programs like his FundraisingMasterclass.com

Ali Mahlodji was born in Tehran in 1981. When he was two, his family fled to Austria. Ali dropped out of school at the age of 18, but finished university years later with a degree in IT. Today he is in his mid-thirties, looking back on a succession of more than 40 jobs – from being a construction worker to pharmacist’s assistant to management consultant.
He is a multiple award winning co-founder of an internationally acclaimed start up called WHATCHADO. It is an online video platform, which functions as a “manual” for life stories and jobs. In his daily work, Ali also consults Executives on leadership. He furthermore lectures at universities.
His passion is to start new ventures and help people find their calling. In 2013, the European Union appointed Ali Youth Ambassador for life. In 2015 he was awarded European Ambassador for the New Narrative. He has been commissioned HR Excellence Award Winner, European Digital Communication Award Winner, UN World Summit Award Winner, XING New Work Award Winner 2017.
Ali Mahlodji has also been asked to be Advisor for the ‘Aware and Active’ programme by Erasmus+ in 2017. In June this year he has been thanked for his continuing work and input in the fields of Education at the European Parliament.

Selma Prodanovic is an internationally awarded entrepreneur, angel investor, and philanthropist. She is passionate about empowering people and creating the future. Named Startup-Grande-Dame by the media, Selma is founder of 1MillionStartups the pioneering global support platform for entrepreneurs and startups dedicated to solving real-life problems and reaching the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She also initiated the Global Entrepreneurship Declaration supported by UNIDO.
Selma is co-founder and Vice-President of Austrian Angel Investors Association, Board Member of European Business Angel Network (EBAN), and member of Global Business Angel Network (GBAN). The Business Angelina is lead investor at Rising Tide Europe 1 – impacting the next generation of female business angels, was an investor in the Austrian startup TV show “2 minutes – 2 million”, and served as a judge in over 100 investment panels.
With her company Brainswork, she launched a dozen brands, supported over 400 startups, and advised numerous global investors, corporations and organizations.
Selma is happily married to her first love and is proud mother of two fantastic millennials.

Harald Mahrer (45) was Federal Minister of Science, Research and Economics until December 2017, before that he was State Secretary in the Ministry from 1 September 2014. The graduate of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration gained political experience as chairman of the Austrian Students’ Union and subsequently completed his doctorate in social and economic sciences.
After several years as research assistant he started as managing director of legend Consulting GmbH and later headed Austria’s leading PR agency Pleon Publico and was active for over 15 years as a promoter of start-ups and as a business angel. From 2011 to 2015, he was President of the Julius Raab Foundation and was intensively involved with corporate responsibility and the freedom of the citizen as well as with the establishment of a new founding period in Austria. In December 2017 Mahrer became president of the ÖVP’s economic association. He is President designate of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.
